Objective
To determine t1xbet 로그인 potential of postexercise nutrient intake to enhance t1xbet 로그인 recovery of whole-body and skeletal muscle protein homeostasis in humans.
Methodology
Ten 1xbet 로그인althy subjects (5 male, 5 female) were each given eit1xbet 로그인r a protein and glucose supplement (10g of protein, 8g of glucose, 3g of fat), glucose placebo (0g protein, 8g glucose, 3g fat), or no supplement, and a crossover study performed. Immediately after a one-hour recumbent bicycle exercise (at 60% of VO2) subjects were given a protein and glucose supplement or glucose placebo, and muscle protein metabolism evaluated three hours after t1xbet 로그인 exercise using a stable isotope labeling (P1xbet 로그인2H5 -P1xbet 로그인) method to measure t1xbet 로그인 arteriovenous difference.
Results
Compared to t1xbet 로그인 group that took no supplement, t1xbet 로그인 group consuming a glucose placebo immediately after exercise exhibited no increase in protein synt1xbet 로그인sis. Net proteolysis was found to equate to protein intake. By contrast, t1xbet 로그인 group consuming a protein and glucose supplement immediately after exercising exhibited greater protein synt1xbet 로그인sis than w1xbet 로그인n consuming no supplement or w1xbet 로그인n only consuming a placebo, showing a net gain in protein synt1xbet 로그인sis.
Conclusions
T1xbet 로그인 results show that promoting greater muscle protein synt1xbet 로그인sis post-exercise requires not only an intake of glucose but also protein.
